Who we are
Costa Del Sol Studio is run by Dmytro Chupryna, a self-employed professional in Spain (NIF Z2930240E), Benalmádena, Málaga, who is the controller of your data. For anything on this page, write to privacy@costadelsol.studio. Where we handle an enquiry for an estate agency, that agency decides what happens to it and we act on its instructions, and a request about it goes to that agency.
What we collect, and why
- What you tell us about the home you want, your name and contact details, and your conversations with Sol, our AI assistant (calls are recorded): to help you find, view and buy a home, as you asked. Sol suggests homes; it makes no decision about you with legal or similarly significant effects.
- Your consent to be contacted: to contact you. You can withdraw it at any time.
- How the site is used, including session recordings, linked to your name and search when you are signed in: to run it, keep it safe and improve it, in our legitimate interest.
- The work contact details of people at agencies and partners: to work with them, under our agreement or in our legitimate interest.
- Records the law requires, such as invoices.
Giving us your details is up to you, but without a phone number or email address we cannot contact you.
Who receives it
The estate agents and property professionals who help with your search; the providers we run on (hosting, communications, AI, analytics), under contract and only on our instructions; the map and the booking calendar, which load from their own servers and may set their own cookies; Meta, if you say yes to advertising cookies; and authorities, where the law requires. Some providers are outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States, under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses; write to us for a copy of these safeguards. We never sell personal data.
Cookies and advertising
We use the cookies the site needs to work, analytics, and, only if you say yes, Meta’s advertising cookies. With your yes we also share your visit and your contact details, in coded form, with Meta to measure our adverts and show them to people like you; never your conversations with Sol. For this we and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd are joint controllers under Meta’s Controller Addendum; what Meta does with it afterwards is governed by Meta’s own data policy, and you can exercise your rights over it with us or with Meta. Your answer is kept for six months, and you can change it here at any time.
Google user data
Signing in with Google gives us your name, email address and Google account id, which we use to sign you in and as your contact details. An agency that connects its Google Calendar gives us its busy times only, and we add the viewings it agreed; access is kept as an encrypted token, deleted the moment the calendar is disconnected, and calendar data is never shared. We never sell Google data or use it to train models, and our use of it adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
A buyer’s data, and analytics, for twelve months after we last spoke, or until you ask us to delete it; an agency’s data until 30 days after it leaves; the contact details of people at agencies and partners for up to two years after we last dealt with them; longer only where the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected, deleted, limited or moved, and you can object to its use. Where we rely on your consent you can withdraw it at any time; that does not undo what was done before. Write to privacy@costadelsol.studio and we will answer within a month. You can also complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).
You can object at any time to being contacted about homes, by us or anyone who works with us, and we will stop.
